Pangani Girls High School was established in 1932 during the colonial period.It was originally known as Duchess of Gloucester School, named after Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester.The school was situated in the Pangani area of Nairobi.At the time, it primarily served girls from the Asian community living in Pangani, Ngara, and Parklands.
Students studied for the Cambridge and Higher Cambridge School Certificate, equivalent to the former O-Level and A-Level system.—
